The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) solutions and
services to prospective clients. This includes understanding client needs, recommending appropriate
ELV systems, and effectively communicating the value propositions of the offered solutions. The role
involves building and maintaining client relationships, meeting sales targets, and staying updated on
industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
- Identify and target potential clients in need of ELV Solutions
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking and referrals
- Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements to understand their ELV solution needs
- Collaborate with presales and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions aligned with client expectations
- Solution Presentation, Proposal Development and Negotiation with client
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Responsible for working with the internal team to on-board and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key sales metricsin company CRM, Tracking and Reporting Systems
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads and customer interactions
- Update job and industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations and events
- Provide feedback to management regarding market dynamics and customer needs
Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years experience in ELV sales role preferably servicing mid to large sized enterprise clients
- Strong understanding of ELV Systems and Technologies
- Possess good relationship with the vendors or principals of some brands accepted by the market
- Must have good relationship with the QS companies and MEP consultants
- Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and successfully accomplish company’s goals
- Possess latitude and creativity in handling customers’ accounts
- Ability to relate with customers, top management and junior staff members in the client environment
- Ability to manage more than one account at the same time as dictated by the company’s requirements at any particular time
- Aggressive, perseverance and hunger for learning and business
- At least Diploma in information technology, engineering or related field
