Objective of the role:
HR Manager, Asia will be responsible for the full scope of Human Resource functions for Asia. The candidate will be reporting to the CEO, Asia with strategic and operational initiatives through planning, implementation and best practices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resource Management:
- Lead, manage and coach stakeholders and employees.
- Implement HR policy and procedures in the company.
- Process work pass applications, renewals and cancellations.
- Full responsibility of all statutory compliance.
- Drive employee engagement, improve workplace relationships, boost productivity and employee retention.
- Assistance in payroll processing for Asia offices.
- Point of contact for employee staff benefits, annual leave and policies.
Recruitment and Talent Sourcing:
- Understand the needs of the hiring managers and prepare job description.
- Coordination of recruitment with stakeholders to evaluate, identify and select the right candidates for Asia offices.
- Processing of employment letters, passes and all other necessary statutory documents.
- Prepare and manage all induction programs for all new team members.
Training and Performance Review:
- Full responsibility for all training programs across Asia Pacific.
- Work closely with the Head of the Departments to understand the training needs and requirements of fellow team members.
- Budget management and delivery of all training programs.
Coordination with Headquarters:
- Act as the liaison between Asia office and Global People and Culture team.
Administration:
- Administer all Biometric applications.
- Ensure data in Annual Leave system is updated.
- Ensure proper maintenance and office cleanliness.
- Coordinate and assist other projects or campaign (i.e. yearly conference, logistics, and team building events)
- To assist the Managing Director on administrative issues such as travel reservations and the scheduling of appointments and meetings.
- Lead projects relevant to the development of all the company staff and customers (Internal and external).
- Administration of NS claims, maternity, childcare, paternity leave claims and training grants.
- Review and process group medical insurance renewals across all Asia offices.
- Oversee office operations, including facilities management, office supplies procurement and maintenance.
- Lead CSR initiatives, including global and local volunteer programs.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of working experience in a Human Resource capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of Employment Laws and HR best practices.
- Knowledge of payroll.
- Positive attitude with good oral and written communication skills.
- Meticulous, well-organized, resourceful and be able to work independently.
