Application Manager - Application Harmonization
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in harmonizing our organization's applications, ensuring seamless integration, and optimizing performance. Responsibilities:
Application Harmonization:
- Lead efforts to harmonize existing applications within the organization.
- Evaluate and streamline application portfolios to ensure compatibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Integration and Optimization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications for smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and implement strategies to enhance application performance.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with application vendors to ensure timely updates, support, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new applications that align with harmonization objectives.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on application harmonization best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to application management.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, integrations, and harmonization strategies.
- Generate regular reports on application performance and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in application management, with a focus on harmonization.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and their interdependencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.
- Certification in ITIL, PMP, or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks is a bonus
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
