Responsibilities:
- Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- Comprehends contractual conditions and specifications for commercial and technical cost savings.
- Responsible for implementing client requirements.
- Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters.
- Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Consultants, Client and other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public.
- Ensure accurate information is made available at all times to facilitate effective decision-making. Identifies problem areas, evaluates and initiates corrective action.
- checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings (3D walkthrough with clients/consultant)
- Monitor project performance, maintaining quality control procedures and budget. Initiates corrective action where appropriate to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identifies and records changes to the project scope of supply and negotiates variation orders for customer.
- Any other duties as assigned by Senior Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma, Advance Diploma in Electrical Engineering / construction / oil and gas.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Construction or Oil & Gas industry
- Well verse in Electrical Installation works
- Familiar with the Oil and Gas QA/QC system to support safe and flawless start-up of facilities.
- Teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
- Will be based at Tuas Site
