Job Description & Requirements
The Food Technologist Intern has the following job description:-
1. Assist the production team in maintaining daily document records upkeep for the FSSC 22k requirements.
2. Assist in R&D for shelf life extensions , taste , textures of foodstuffs as and when instructed.
3. Assist in printing labels , sorting and packing as and when required by production.
4. Other ad hoc requests as per management requirements.
The intern has to possess:-
1. A keen eye for detail in terms of visual product merchandising, food packaging design,
2. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
3. Resourcefulness to check up on regulatory requirements regarding food import legislation, food safety and other labelling , health, allergens criteria.
4. Preferably taking a course in Food Science or Food Technology with module in marketing, business and /or visual product merchandising.
