We are looking for a IT Specialist to support the IT operations. This is a 12 months contract to start with a potential to extend further.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The role involves providing comprehensive PC support, addressing hardware and software issues at both retail and departmental stores as well as office locations.
- Responsibilities include setting up new computers for various purposes, supporting Point of Sales (POS) counters, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, ensuring software patches are up-to-date, and managing supplies for printers.
- The position also involves assisting users with tickets and IT-related issues, monitoring and updating sales reports from POS systems, and supporting testing for new releases and system modifications.
- Maintenance and support for various systems, including HR/Payroll, E-Leave, and POS, are essential, and tracking computer inventories is part of the role.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in IT support for both office and retail environments, knowledge of POS systems, proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, basic networking skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Occasional Support may be required after office hours for urgent situations.
