Role and Responsibilities
- Front the end-to-end IT procurement activities for new project/s to ensure compliance with the procurement rules which include but not limited to preparation of tender specifications, participation of tender evaluation and awarding of contract;
- Partner the Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, Legal and Contract Management departments on procurement matters;
- Review/ prepare procurement requests and facilitate the seeking of approvals from relevant Approval Authorities on budget and procurement;
- Provide oversight on contracts and conduct contract administration;
- Support procurement activities to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Order (PO)s and related follow-up;
- Initiate & implement process improvements for greater efficiency; and Support program/project audits.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Self-motivated, driven, a good team player and strong ability to multi-task;
- Effective information-gathering, through meeting facilitation, one-on-one interactions and/or observations;
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with large scale IT project procurement will be an advantage; and Minimum 5 to 8 years of direct and relevant full-time working experience in a similar role.
