Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT Security team, overseeing all aspects that align with business objectives and strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies and plans.
- Perform security reviews of existing systems to assess their defense capabilities against evolving threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for critical IT systems.
- Drive IT Security awareness through activities like security talks, phishing simulations, and incident response exercises.
- Manage and investigate cyber security alerts and notifications, identifying root causes for effective containment and future improvements.
- Engage IT project teams in the SDLC to identify and prioritize relevant security controls, providing guidance on implementation.
- Collaborate with the IT Governance team and other IT units to monitor and review information systems and infrastructure security.
- Enhance the Information Security risk assessment methodology and develop mitigation options for identified risks.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in security technologies, offering knowledge sharing and technical assistance.
- Define security configuration standards for various platforms and technologies.
- Provide detailed reporting on IT security initiatives, scans, and incidents to SIT management and statutory reporting to MOE.
- Research and implement new security technologies, addressing emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 8-10 years of experience in Information and Cyber Security.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud security (AWS, Microsoft Azure, and SaaS solutions).
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, MTCS, CSA Security-by-Design, PDPA).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CREST, CEH, CHFI are advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and ownership of challenging tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
