We are looking for EUC Endpoint Specialist on a 12 months contract basis. This is an extendable contract role based on the individuals performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technologies implementation in the on-going projects for end user workspace to enhance the experience of collaboration, mobility, performance, security, and service level.
- Contribute to the development of physical workspace and desktop engineering including peripheral equipment.
- Provide expertise to regional teams and collaborate with Japan head office stakeholders.
- Provide timely escalation and resolution of major issues to management and Head Office teams.
- Act as liaison between end users and IT team to understand business requirements for end-user services, design and implement new solution or enhancements.
- Partner with operations section to ensure the device & its applied group policy design and implementation plan are aligned with the project plan.
- Design, develop and test the necessary scripts to help the user or operational functionalities on endpoint environment.
- As a solution architect, understand and realize target architectures and coordinate with internal teams, partners/vendors and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular project reports and documentations.
- Ensure project status and progress are communicated to stakeholders and IT teams in a timely and concise manner.
Must have Requirements: -
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or Cyber Security or equivalent with min. 6 years of experience supporting IT End User Service in a large organization.
- ITIL Certification with good understanding of ITIL Change, problem, and incident management frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge on Microsoft 365, Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
- Knowledge in ID authentication architecture to achieve Single Sign On between on-premise and private cloud environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune) and Windows 10 OS control.
- Knowledge in endpoint security solutions especially focusing on recent Zero-trust Architecture model.
- Hands-on knowledge in Endpoint Services including patching, email, file, print, device & user policy, OS scripts, and mobile device management.
- Proven experience in solution, architecture, design for client OS engineering, virtualization.
- Proven experience in complete physical user workspace design including desk, chair, monitor, keyboard, mouse, computer, etc, and its operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, CISA, CISSP) is a plus.
Good to have :-
- Knowledge or experience in a platform implements eDiscovery Reference Model.
- Good understanding of MAS, JFSA or APAC countries regulators’ technology risk guidelines or mandates.
- Prior working experience in a bank or financial institution.
- Microsoft certification – Intune, MS 365 mobility and security, Managing Modern Desktops, Modern Desktop Administrator, MS Azure certification, MCSA/MCSE.
- Willing to take an ad-hoc project as necessary.
