The flagship product KIMIA Recover is a comprehensive recovery management system for knee surgical patients. The product was the National Winner and International Top 20 of the prestigious James Dyson Award 2020 and has gained traction with major implant companies, public hospitals, and orthopaedic clinics.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a resourceful Business Development Manager to expand our business and improve our branding initiatives. Your duties will include establishing networks with industry specialists, maintaining valued customer relationships, and negotiating deals.

You should demonstrate extensive experience in business development strategies, marketing and experts in identifying and capitalising on business opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Direct P&L Responsibility and business leadership for the regional business of the company
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies and specific initiatives focused on bringing on new customers and new business for the region
  • Provide direct leadership to the sales, marketing, and R&D teams
  • Align the organisation behind a passion for the customer by driving change, communication, values and integrity, and leadership and organisation development
  • Generate and follow-up with commercial and clinical leads, accounts and stakeholders, expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Work with the core team on creating and executing marketing and sales strategy, to achieve both sales and marketing objectives
  • Conducting market research and identifying potential clients or business opportunities and prepare business documentation including (but not limited to) presentations, reports, projections etc
  • Work closely with operations team to supply customers with products and excellent customer service
  • Establish a clear direction, and set challenging goals, including goals and budgets with finance team for individual operating departments
  • Monitor overall performance against annual operating and profit plans
  • Ensure that the regional business achieves the highest possible level of return on assets and investment
  • Identifies critical opportunities and problems, and provides well-tested strategies for driving the decision to pursue through to a close
  • Drive continuous improvements in productivity and profitability, lead the regional leadership team and participate on the global leadership team
  • Attract, retain and develop high potential talent, model and promote the company’s code of business ethics and core values
  • Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Other administrative and ad-hoc tasks required and assigned by the company from time to time

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Development or Marketing, or similar.

Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) preferred.

Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry.

Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion. Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.

Competency in negotiating and closing business deal
