Financial Controller
Job descriptions and responsibilities:
1) Handle full sets of accounts for holding co, subsidiary in Hk, inclduign daily routine works
2) liaise with auditors ( Singapore, hk), preparing conso, notes to account, audit schedules, drafting annual reports/ financial statements in accordance with financial reporting standards in Singapore
3) Prepare tax computation and submission of tax computation to IRAS
4) Prepares half year and full years results, announcements that fall under listing manual, dealing with SGX officers, company secretary for the announcements
5) oversees the operations including the subsidiaries, and assist in resolving the matters arising
6) Manage office expenditures, budgeting and financial record-keeping
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance with CA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of IFRS/FRS and experience in group consolidation accounting.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis techniques.
- Candidates with reputable audit experience (at least 3 to 4 years) are an advantage.
- Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to multi-task.
- Possess strong work ethics, good initiatives, and a process-improvement mindset.
- Hands-on preparation of full sets of accounts experience is a must
- Strong problem solving skills, self-motivated team player and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to perform the core job duties accurately and to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
