An integral part of Singapores City in a Garden vision, Gardens by the Bay spans a total of 101 hectares of prime land at the heart of Singapores new downtown Marina Bay. Comprising three waterfront gardens Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central Gardens by the Bay will be a showcase of horticulture and garden artistry that will bring the world of plants to Singapore and present Singapore to the World. RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be based in our Gardens Operations or Conservatory Operations department to provide procurement support for plants, props and related material purchases. You will assist in the full spectrum of procurement activities and processes whereby attention to details and focus on quality of works are critical.You will also assist to provide prompt procurement advice to stakeholders in accordance withcontract terms and conditions and specifications,procurement policiesand industry good practicesandassist in the propermanagement ofprocurement audit matters. As part of the job, you may be required to join in on local or overseas procurement trips.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Supply Chain/ Business Administration/ Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in procurement and contracts management, with at least4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with knowledge in sustainable procurement as well
- Good knowledge and exposurein procurement andcontractmanagementline of works and a keen interest in plants would be advantageous
- Proficient in the usage of MS Office and ERP systemssuch asOracle Netsuite and TenderBoard
- Meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task andpossess strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently
- Resourceful, able to work independently and is a good team player at the same time
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and solutioning skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions
- Must possess good writing skills
