Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Risk:
- Implement and maintain robust risk management methodologies for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, and data privacy.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and address potential IT security threats.
- Monitor regulatory compliance across all technology initiatives and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and optimize technology investments.
- Commodity Risk:
- Analyze and forecast price movements for key commodities traded by the company.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to minimize financial exposure to market volatility.
- Monitor and report on trading positions, exposures, and risk metrics to senior management.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and regulatory changes in the global commodities market.
- General:
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct risk training for relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Partner with business units to ensure risk management considerations are integrated into all critical decisions.
- Remain a trusted advisor to leadership on all matters related to technology and commodity risk.
