Case Manager – Job Retention Support
Ingeus, in partnership with yellow Ribbon Singapore, will be delivering the Job Retention Support contract supporting ex-offenders reintegrate into the workforce. Case Managers will provide guidance and assistance to in work clients addressing their work and life challenges enabling them to remain and thrive at work. Case Managers serve as a single point of contact working closely with employers and clients to resolve their work, financial and other social issues by providing career coaching and motivation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Client through 6-9 months of employment via monthly calls or visits to ensure sustained employment.
- Manage client’s expectations of the programme including responsibilities of both parties, data protection and programme requirements.
- Work closely with Yellow Ribbon staff to transfer client to Ingeus and provide appropriate support to the client.
- Update all systems with case notes and actions as required to maintain robust records
- For clients who have fallen out of work to provide employment assistance including CV tailoring, interview preparation, exploration of alternative career options according to client’s needs.
- Identify barriers to employment, job goals and various training needs to support clients back into employment.
- Motivate, encourage and empower Client throughout their job search journey
- Assist Client by troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may affect sustained employment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Degree qualification
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Malay/ Tamil/ Mandarin/Chinese Dialects (Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew, etc)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word) and the ability to pick up new systems / software
- At least 2 years experience in a case management environment
- Evidence of setting and achieving targets across a broad range of KPIs
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of communication and learning styles
- Strong interpersonal skills – specifically around building rapport, listening, and influencing skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Able to manage own time and the time allotted to clients effectively.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality
