The Smart Building Solutions (SBS) is a Regional Solution and Service business unit, part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. We are seeking for an experienced Business Development leader and subject matter expert in Enterprise Security with strong engineering and integration experience to lead the Enterprise Security Business in APAC. As a part of Siemens, the position provides the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a high-growth environment, collaborating with diverse teams and contributing to business growth in APAC countries. The role is based in Singapore, with anticipated travel within the APAC region.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Collaborating with Siemens' Smart Infrastructure organizations in Singapore, Australia, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea to boost Security solutions business for Buildings & Critical Infrastructures.
- Working with the Security Centre of Competence in Dubai and HQ to offer Technical Support, application support, training and review solution submitted from the mentioned countries.
- Engaging with the Security Community in the APAC region and HQ.
- Developing and aligning the Security strategy, budget, GTM, portfolio among others in coordination with the Business Line Region Head.
- Supporting local organizations in the mentioned countries to grow their Security solutions business, including coaching, training, and promoting the portfolio's strengths.
- Coordinating with Global and Regional Key Accounts Managers to assist local sales organizations in strategic projects.
- Collaborating with local teams to identify unique market requirements, optimizing bidding processes, allocating resources, and sharing best practices to enhance productivity and profitability across the region.
You’ll win us over by:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with an in depth understanding in Electronic Security Products and/or Solutions for Building & Critical Infrastructure.
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in IT networking and integration
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong work ethics and results-driven orientation.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, independence, resourcefulness, and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to travel for business, approximately 30% of the time.
