About the Role
Looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst for our Healthcare domain. This role is required to manage day-to-day security vulnerability assessments, providing reports, advising on resolutions, and proactively monitoring remediation plans. Your expertise ensures continuous enhancement of the assessment process, verifying security controls, reviewing incident reports, and evaluating the severity of security events. You will report directly to the Team Manager.
Job Description
- Manage day-to-day security vulnerability assessments and operational requests.
- Provide security vulnerability assessment reports and advise system operators on security vulnerabilities and resolutions.
- Proactively monitor remediation plans and progress.
- Schedule security checks in accordance with reporting schedules.
- Continuously enhance the existing security vulnerability assessment process.
- Verify security controls are implemented accordingly.
- Review security incident reports.
- Evaluate the type and severity of security events.
- Assist with establishing procedures for handling detected security events.
- Create final incident reports detailing the events of the incident.
- Prepare periodic status reports for presentation to management.
- Responsible for any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor in Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in relevant field within vulnerability management and incident response.
- Experience in at least one vulnerability scanner (Nessus, QVM, OpenVAS, QRadar, Nexpose, Tennable.io).
- Certification in QISP, CEH, CISSP, and/or related security certification is desirable.
- Self-motivated and keen to learn new technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
- A desire to thrive in a hard-working, fast-paced and collaborative team.
- Great communicator, negotiator and team-player.
