Role:
Your primary objective is to ensure smooth HR operations and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, you will be involved in HR-related matters such as compensation, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and improve HR processes in the following areas: employee engagement survey, performance management, culture, internal training coordination, and trusted advisor to our employees.
- Manage employee data and new hire onboarding
- Stay up to date with legal requirements and industry best practices, ensuring our HR policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations. Provide expert guidance to portfolio companies on HR rules and regulations.
- Foster a positive work culture, both remotely and in-person culture by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting a collaborative atmosphere. Extend guidance to external companies as needed.
- Oversee and develop effective performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans, both internally and for portfolio companies.
- Keep up to date with changing trends/compliance within the HR world.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs, provide support, and monitor their effectiveness. Extend expertise to advise portfolio companies in their training and development initiatives.
- Recommend initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall organizational well-being, providing support and guidance to portfolio companies.
- Serve as a role model for good communication, building relationships, and demonstrating our values.
Results:
- Talent management processes are being followed by all leaders and employees in a timely fashion.
- Calibration exists for the performance management cycle and merit increases are aligned to the annual performance review process.
- A talent pulse survey exists and complements the existing employee engagement survey.
- Maintain best-in-class employee engagement and retention.
