Job Description of Site Engineer

1. Candidate has to be independent and resourceful with good people

management skills. Must be comfortable to work alone or with a small team.

2. Possess good communication skills, such as active listening and speakingclearly, to be able to explain technical information to customers/subcon.

during installation.

5. Competent to read and understand installation manuals and instructions, such

that work can be completed efficiently and effectively.

6. Competent to conduct site survey to develop deployment plans.
7. Coordinating with other contractors or subcontractors to ensure the smooth

completion of projects within time and budget constraints

1. Working with architects/other engineers to ensure compliance to contract requirements and meet code requirements for safety and efficiency
2. Working with contractors/architects during construction to ensure that the plans are carried out accurately
3. Update PM of daily/monthly progress for report generation.
4. Assist the system design team to conduct testing & commissioning aftersuccessful implementation.
5. Perform maintenance on existing equipment or facilities to ensure they areoperating correctly

Requirements

1. Candidates with Railway experience will be preferred.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in installation of electrical and communicationinfrastructures.
3. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, preferred.
4. Teamplayerwithgoodinterpersonalandcommunicationskills.
5. Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
6. Self-motivatedandServiceoriented.
7. Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
