Job Purpose:
Act as the primary liaison between the organization and the partner community, managing the entire sales cycle to optimize revenue, margin, and partner satisfaction, while fostering strong relationships and identifying sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Channels Director to formulate and execute an effective call plan for engaging the business partner community.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the product range, providing well-informed overviews.
- Identify and leverage upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize margin returns.
- Coordinate with various divisions to ensure smooth customer transactions and a positive partner buying experience.
- Maintain an updated CRM for accurate business insights and diligently follow up on quotations.
- Design and implement outbound campaigns to achieve agreed margin goals.
- Identify services opportunities in collaboration with the Technical Services team.
- Attain and sustain sales certification for relevant product groups.
- Resolve partner issues promptly and accurately forecast business on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with Sales Support to ensure timely logging of orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of channel-based IT solutions sales experience.
- Tertiary IT degree or Diploma preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Demonstrated maturity and strong business acumen.
- Proficient in opportunity closing skills with technical competence in IT solutions.
