About the role

This is your opportunity to utilise all the skills you’ve developed as a high-performing industry professional to build, develop and lead a team as a Recruitment Manager. Ideally, you will have a solid successful track record in recruitment, placing high quality candidates. Taking responsibility for the profitability and business activities of your team, you’ll help us to continually grow Robert Walters by promoting our brand to existing and prospective clients and candidates alike. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, place quality candidates for our clients and supporting your team to achieve and exceed their financial and KPI targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and manage good quality people
  • Ensure your business remains profitable
  • Develop and engage your team, including attending meetings with clients and candidates, conducting regular reviews; carry out appraisals review including discussing career progression
  • Set revenue targets for your team that grow the business and challenge individuals with regular reviews
  • Lead mornings catch up – ensuring a good number of quality candidates are presented, marketed and correctly recorded
  • Assist with CV marketing strategy and implementation
  • Seek, select and match candidates for appropriate assignments, arrange interviews and fully brief candidates
  • Participate in head hunting of candidates and following up on referrals
  • Ensure the Robert Walters database accurately reflects business dealings with client and candidates ensuring data integrity
  • Lead regular candidate call back sessions including reference checking for leads
  • Responsible for cost control of Net Fee Income within your team including revenue assurance.
  • Conduct salary reviews for consultants including bonus allocations with the Director
  • Identify underperformers and competently manage company disciplinary and performance management procedures where necessary alongside HR

Key Information:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of solid recruitment experience in a recruitment firm and minimum 2-3 years leading a team in an agency environment
  • In depth understanding of recruitment market preferably within the HR or Sales space
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity, despite facing challenges
  • Ability to gain commitment, respect and loyalty of others
