Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide first and second line of IT support for all users and infrastructure
- General IT queries
- Software/Application patching
- Configuring laptops, mobiles, screens and printers
- Support VIP’s in the local office
- Setting up new users, including providing technology inductions
- Removing employees from the system when they have left the organisation
- Administration of Office 365, Azure, Intune and conditional access
- Server administration tasks to file permissions etc.
- Support the wider IT team with local queries impacting the local office
- Be the eyes and ears on the ground for all IT issues
- Ensure all local IT policies and procedures are adhered to
- Complete the daily, weekly and monthly tasks including backups, procedures and reporting
- Assist with the running of procedure across a wide spectrum of IT systems
- Undertake general IT administration duties
- Help ensure IT documentation is maintained and up to date
- Provide on-call support for business critical issues
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
Experience and Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience configuring and maintain Windows Server 2019
- Knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V platforms
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Cloud services, End point management and Intune
- Good working knowledge and experience of manging backup systems
- ITIL experience would be an advantage
- Office 365 Administration qualified would be an advantage
- Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security qualified would be an advantage
- ServiceNow certified would be an advantage
