Senior ICA Engineer

Job Description

• Prepare and Review Instrumentation and Control specifications for Programmable logic controller/Distributed Control system (PLC/DCS) and Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and Instrumentation.
• Prepare and Review Control System Architecture diagram, Functional design specification (FDS), Process control narrative (PCN) and Process Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Prepare instrument datasheets and material requisitions.
• Prepare, Review and Assist subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
• Prepare all relevant checklist for Installation and Testing.
• Resolve all site technical relating matter.
• Assist and Collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
• Ensure Client accepts and approved all ICA related installation and Testing.

Design, Engineering, Supervision of installation & testing commissioning :-

1. System Control PLC/DCS and SCADA.
2. Input / Output list
3. Cable support system.
4. Cabling & Termination.
5. Instruments and Panels Installation.
6. FAT and SAT of Interfacing Panels, Instruments, Pumps, etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Advanced Diploma in Process Control and Instrumentation.
• EICA work experience, preferably in water/waste water projects will be an added advantage
  OR
• Minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in constructing and commissioning of instrumentation and control system.
• Experience in Selection, installation and Commissioning of Instrumentation.
• Experience in Basic Programming of PLC/DCS and SCADA.
• Experience in Project Execution, Supervising and Coordination with sub-contractors, consultant and Client.
• Good technical knowledge in understanding electrical system.
• Good technical understanding of water, waste water and pollution control system.
• Relevant experience in design and site work for water and wastewater treatment works.
• Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem solving skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in the Tuas South area.
