The main role for Proposal Engineer is to prepare company's product/equipment technical proposals, primarily for Surface / Subsea completion systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare and evaluate technical proposals and tenders in accordance with ITT guidance.
- Review of all information relating to bid, clarification of response receivedfrom client and internal support departments.
- Coordinate client responses to all technical queries during the bid andafter bid period.
- Prepare all associated technical / required documentation from beginningof bid to support the sales coordinator.
- Prepare cost and work closely with sales coordinator / appropriate departments to ensure target dates are met.
- Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary in support of tenders
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably with Degreee in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical engineering background
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 4-5 years’ experience in reviewing RFQ (bid documents) and making technical proposals in an oilfield manufacturing environment, preferably working in Subsea/Surface completion systems
