Established in 2014, my client is a Singapore-based organisation in the IT Information and Services industry.
With expansion plans, they are looking to hire an IT Project Manager to join the team.
about the role
- Ensure overall success of a project, or a portfolio of projects, by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
- Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes of the Authority.
- Lead the development of the overall project schedule & activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones, and deliverables.
- Build comprehensive work plan and ensure all team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
- Conduct regular work group meetings and provide project progress and status reports to stakeholders with good presentation skills.
- Perform stakeholder management, including keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of the project status on a timely and regular basis.
- Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.
- Manage the project schedule & lead activities towards the successful closure of the project including Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period

- Contract Management
- Service Level Management (SLA)
- Service/Change Request Management (scope, schedule, budget, prioritisation)
- Problem and Incident Management (tracking, escalation, closure)
- Audit and Security Services
- Risk Management
skills and requirements needed
- Minimally Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimally 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management and familiar with the full project development life cycle.
- Certifications (CITPM / PMP/ COMIT) are highly desirable.
- Experienced in hardware/ technical refresh projects is an added advantge.
- Knowledge of Singapore government authority data, procurement and governance processes will be ideal.
- Strong people, stakeholder and communication skills.
