Job Description
The ideal candidate is a team player responsible for working with company data in various business areas.
- Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.
- Perform a bridging role between the finance and data science team.
- Create reporting frameworks for new product features in financial reports.
- Provide solutions for extracting relevant data and information to represent the financial reporting requirements accurately.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues through essential communication, walkthrough and testing.
- Document process workflows and business logic.
- Manage stakeholders’ needs, concerns and problems regarding changes, enhancements or fixes.
- Think strategically and analytically about business, product and technical challenges.
- Ensure the reports are delivered on time with the highest level of accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of SQL is a must; experience dealing with databases is an advantage.
- Robust data analytics and/or visualization skills, preferably with Python and/or Microsoft Power BI.
- Effective team player and passion to serve.
- Versatile and results-oriented in a fast pace environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skill.
