Position Summary: Diabetes Singapore is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Customer Service cum Admin Assistant. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional support and information to people affected by diabetes, their families, and the community. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate communicator, well-organized, and adept at multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about diabetes and related services to clients via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing client records.
  • Offer empathetic support and guidance to individuals and families dealing with diabetes.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to coordinate care and services.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate client records.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to diabetes care and support.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure necessary equipment is available and functioning.
  • Support the organization in event planning and execution, including workshops, seminars, and fundraising events.
  1. Outreach and Education:
  • Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about diabetes.
  • Assist in developing and distributing educational materials.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience in customer service/administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and database management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of or interest in diabetes and healthcare is a plus.

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Saturday.
  • Office-based role with occasional community outreach activities.
