Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of IT, you shall be responsible to:
- Perform requirement analysis and impact assessment to existing AS400 systems.
- Develop and enhance programs for current insurance applications, aligning with standard programming practice.
- Implement solutions that align with the organization's business objectives.
- Work effectively with IT and business partners in various stages of system development life cycle.
- Provide production and operations support.
Job Requirements:
- A recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant/ related qualification with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience preferably in insurance industry.
- Work experience in COBOL is a must. CLP and/or API on AS400 is a plus.
- Working experience in SQL or QRY400.
- Knowledge of SMART400 in General Insurance application is a must.
- Clear communication & detailed documentation skills.
- Can work independently.
