Our Client is a leading architectural firm that provides architectural and consulting advise for life science projects. With increasing projects in the pipeline locally & overseas, they are seeking experienced and professional individuals to join their local team business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare tender documents (including evaluation criteria, specifications, etc.), carrying out the tender evaluation, and preparing tender recommendation reports, and subsequently contract documents.
- Review, assess and recommend to the Project Architects the suitability and validity of contents drafted by the Client’s lawyer/Consultant Quantity Surveyor in the front-end tender documents (e.g. Particular Conditions of Contract, Preliminaries and General Conditions, Preambles, etc.)
- Assist the Project Architects in the daily contract administration matters such as drafting contractual letters, notices, instructions, directions, and certificates; and assessing variation claims, extension of time claims; and any other contractual claims submitted by the Contractor.
- Prepare for approval of change requests and variation orders.
- Document projects thoroughly for claims management.
- Coordinate and liaise with Clients, Consultants and Contractors in addressing contractual matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for growing within the contract administration function.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Meticulous, strong administrative skills, proactive, a team player, and a keen sense of timelines in completing tasks.
- Positive learning attitude, unafraid of embracing new problems and working with ambiguity.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
