Server Service Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities –
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions, including to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our x86 rack servers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues in our internal support system.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with internal and external customers for timely replacement.
- Manage sub-contractors and ensure their performance is up to our standards.
- Install, configure, and maintain x86 rack servers, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Provide training to employees and customers on new technologies and software applications.
Requirement-
- Polytechnic degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in technical support for x86 rack servers or related field
- Strong knowledge of x86 rack servers, and experience in managing sub-contractors is preferred
- Availability for occasional travel to customer sites for on-site support
