Technical Principal Consultant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


General responsibilities

  • Expert level knowledge of SunriseTM suite of solutions data schema
    Create test plan templates and test with client/vendor to ensure that functionality meets the needs of the client
  • Provide Expert level technical support during the implementation delivery process, including triaging and troubleshooting issues reported by client and implementation team
    Install all software required for the Altera solutions
  • Develop technical documentation to facilitate efficiency, document customer implementations, and Support Department education objectives
  • Provide Expert level training for clients and co-workers on your areas of expertise


Client Facing/Specific responsibilities

  • Have an integral role in the Governance Approach with the client to develop a dedicated API taskforce/workstream that will have regular meetings with the Altera SunriseTM API development team to prioritise and review Client API development requests.
  • Facilitate discussions with UX team on product visions. All tasks regarding research, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up experiences for digital products will be completed by the Altera Human Centered Design (HCD) team.
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  • Liaise with UX team to understand best practices, which will be used by the Technical Principal Consultant to provide input on strategic design and Human-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
  • Discuss best practices with the Altera UX Team in order to assist the
  • Client in taking a Human Centered Design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and optimize for Client needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
  • Facilitate detailed UI/HX design reviews, document issues, and coordinate issue resolution. Additionally, assist and provide Client input through co-create programs managed by the Altera UX team related to Altera development efforts.
  • Work with the UX design team to design and develop UI prototypes to support the human need and business requirements for Atera solutions.
  • Design and build consistent user-friendly UI components using JavaScript driven web frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development team to demonstrate and refine prototypes and working UI solutions.
  • Analyse, interpret, and successfully combine technical and human need requirements.


Experience:

  1. API and App Expert development skills
  2. Background in Design and Computer Science; ability to work with Human Centered Design and Mobile App Development Teams from both Altera and Client.
  3. Experience with Agile development methodology.
  4. Experience with SunriseTM suite of solutions and custom solutions.
  5. Previous experience with Human Centered Design is an advantage


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
