Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Programme Development and Execution: Design, execute, and review children and youth programmes (e.g. academic). Ensure that all programmes align with Tasek’s holistic development ethos, emphasising not only skill acquisition but also personal growth, values, and life skills.
  2. Outreach Activities: Organise, carry out, and analyse community engagement activities such as booth staffing, school engagements, and social media campaigns to recruit programme participants.
  3. Needs Assessment: Conduct basic needs assessments for each beneficiary to recognise unique strengths and challenges, and co-design action plans to address these needs.
  4. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain current programme records, monitor beneficiaries' progress, and prepare regular reports to communicate the effectiveness of the programme.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Work effectively with community partners and collaborate on programmes and other initiatives. Supervise programme instructors ensuring quality delivery of programme content.

Technical Competency

  1. Educational Background: Minimum Diploma qualification in fields such as education, humanities, social sciences, social work, and communications.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or any youth-focused social service role is favoured. Having a sporting background or experience in an arts/dance/music education environment will be beneficial.

  1. Interpersonal Skills: Should be comfortable and proficient at interacting socially with individuals from all walks of life and exhibit empathy, patience, and understanding when working with our beneficiaries.
  2. Cultural Competency: A profound understanding of different cultures and sensitivity to diversity is crucial in this role to ensure our programmes meet the unique needs of each beneficiary.
  3. Communication: Robust written and verbal communication skills are required for clear and effective dialogue with beneficiaries, parents, team members, stakeholders, and the wider community.

Working Hours:
5-day work week including a day on every weekend with flexible working arrangement on two weekdays.
