Astek is offering a role of Mid-Senior Level Backend Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure that data is extracted, transformed, and loaded accurately and efficiently on a real-time basis
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in data related projects
- Experience in Java (Spring, Maven), Python
- Prior experience in writing unit and integration tests (preferably Junit)
- Strong background in containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes/Openshift.
- SQL skills in Postgres/Oracle RDBMS.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience in Automation testing and CICD pipelines.
- Hands on experience in Linux.
- Prior experience in Kafka/Message Queue brokers.
- Familiar with Github (Including Github Action).
- Prior background and experience in AWS technologies will be preferred.
- Experience in the financial or investment industry is an advantage
