System Analyst
An IT MNC company is looking for a System Analyst who are familiar with at least one (ASP.NET, Java, C/C++, C#, PHP, etc).
Programming is not required and will be done by offshore development team.
Hybrid work arrangements: 3 day Work in office (2 day work from home)
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a System Analyst to join their growing Engineering team and contribute to the development of information systems. The ideal candidate will design and develop software solutions for our clients, demonstrating proficiency in an agile environment and taking ownership of assigned tasks. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
Project Support
- Collaborate directly with clients to define project approach, specify requirements, and review milestone progress.
- Understand client operations and business objectives.
- Propose potential solutions to enhance client operations.
- Build positive relationships with clients, exploring additional project opportunities.
- Mitigate risks by reporting any issues and proactively providing solutions to them.
- Design software applications, covering requirements gathering, system/database design, in-house development (based on the scale of the project)/management of system development by offshore IT vendors, testing/debugging, and deployment.
- Manage projects and work closely with IT vendor teams.
- Maintain and develop technical documentation.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct training for end-users on assigned systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures.
System & Operational Support
- Provide technical support for systems-related setup, issues and queries.
- Collaborate with the IT vendor teams for system maintenance, troubleshooting, identification and resolution of issues.
- Maintain a high level of user satisfaction with new and existing technologies.
- Ensure continuous delivery of IT services by overseeing service level agreements with business users and monitoring IT systems' performance.
- Expect occasional after-office-hours and weekend support.
- Expect occasional domestic travel/overseas business trips based on the projects.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent fields
- Familiar with at least one Programming Language: ASP.NET, Java, C/C++, C#, PHP, etc
- Database: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, etc (at least one)
- Knowledge on Windows Server OS (AD, DHCP, DNS) and Linux (Redhat OS) is a plus
- Candidate with iOS or Android development/devices is a plus point
- Experience with Logistics: Warehouse Management System, Electronic Data Interchange, etc is good to have
- Experience with ERP: SAP, In-house ERP systems, etc is advantageous
