Employee Relations Specialist

Primary Function (Employee Relations):


As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Liaison and Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact between the employer, employees, and clients, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle employee complaints and payroll inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Disciplinary Action: Execute disciplinary actions in accordance with established HR policies and practices, promoting fair and consistent enforcement.
  • Policy Communication: Keep employees informed of any changes in company policies and provide guidance to the Head of Employment on staff treatment and policy adherence.
  • Conflict Resolution: Respond to policy violations, mediate workplace conflicts, and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
  • Termination Process: Facilitate the layoff, termination, or departure process, including conducting exit interviews, administering severance, and assisting in termination decisions.
  • Compensation and Benefits Support: Provide support in simple compensation and benefit matters, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain regular touchpoints with clients on employee matters, including performance and timesheet-related discussions.
  • Site Engagement: Conduct site visits, engage employees, and facilitate on-site briefings and engagement initiatives.
  • Enforcement of Employee Requirements: Ensure adherence to employee requirements such as timesheet submission and supporting document submission.


Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:


  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with a positive mindset, self-motivation, and a target-driven approach.
  • People Orientation: A people-oriented individual who can effectively work with clients of various positions.
  • Ethical Adherence: Ability to adhere to our organization's standard practices and work ethics.
  • HR Knowledge: Knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a clear understanding of MOM legislations.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Aerospace Engineering Industry is a major plus.
