Silicon Design Engineer

THE ROLE:

We are looking for highly qualified and driven individuals to join the FPGA Product Development (FPD) Silicon Integration team. You will work on full-chip and chiplet RTL development and integration for next generation FPGA and programmable SoC products. You will also work with team members across globally diverse regions. The role is based in Sinagpore.



THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with other like-minded engineers located at different sites. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on challenging problems.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate RTL and IP components from different design teams
  • Build full-chip RTL connectivity models
  • Verify full-chip RTL and models match architectural intent
  • Develop custom tools and methodologies to improve development efficiency and quality


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • New college graduate or 1-3 years industry experience and background in RTL (SystemVerilog) digital design
  • Understanding of complex FPGA and SoC architectures
  • Familiarity with digital design ASIC design flow
  • Experience with RTL coding in Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL
  • Experience with CAD tools such as VCS, Verdi, Design Compiler, SpyGlass, Lint, LEC, Conformal, CDC/RDC, etc. a plus
  • Experience in timing constraints for synthesis and STA at SoC level with Primetime or equivalent tool a plus
  • Familiarity with working in Unix/Linux environment and Version Control Software such as Subversion or Perforce
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl or Python a plus


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
