About This Role:-
The Exchange Custody Operations Manager role will build strong and collaborative relationships with the rest of the internal business partners to manage, monitor and provide operations support to ensure smooth orders execution, prompt clearing and settlement of transactions for derivative products, digital asset security and crypto assets.
He / She is also expected to provide operational oversight and client servicing and account management support in attending to and resolving queries received from Institutional clients related to orders, trade execution, clearing, settlement and custody on the digital platform.
In addition, the role will support the Head of Operations to implement, execute and maintain smooth and efficient operations processes in line with established operational framework, standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following list and may vary during your employment based on the needs of the business, as determined by the Head of Operations: -
- Lead and manage the operations team to support the exchange listing, trading, clearing, settlement and post trade custody operations.
- Participate and contribute towards managing and delivering change projects for derivative products, digital asset security and crypto assets.
- Work with other AsiaNext departments and vendors to maintain a smooth and efficient running of the operations in AsiaNext Exchange platform through robust operation support to ensure smooth order execution, prompt clearing and settlement of transactions for derivatives products, digital asset security, and crypto.
- Support and implement operations procedures that comply with Market Control and Market Surveillance for derivative products, digital asset security and crypto assets.
- Train and develop operations team resources to support 24/7 operations with robust procedures and KPIs, strong resiliency and back up.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in system testing to implement new, enhancement or fix releases for current or new products to support the Exchange’s offerings at planned timeframe.
- Develop, maintain and update the AsiaNext standard operating procedures to align with existing processes & procedures in place.
- Provide support to other AsiaNext department, including Commercial, Compliance, Risk, Product and Finance, when needed.
Qualifications And Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance.
Experience and Skill
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in Operations in the banking / securities services / fintech / payments industry.
- Candidates with good operations experience in reconciliation, securities clearing, custody, and settlement will be preferred.
- Familiar with regulatory securities and payments services guidelines and procedures.
- Good leadership, communication, people and stakeholder management skills.
- Keen interest to work in a start-up environment with ample learning and development opportunities.
