Support the customers to install, diagnose and resolve Hardware, Software, Application issues on desktop PC/notebook and related peripherals.
Primary Responsibilities
- To assist in installation of hardware and software
- To ensure that hardware and software are maintained according to standards by performing upgrades, new installations and carry out routine updating procedures
Job Knowledge/Skills
- Diploma in Information Technology or Computer science or any computer related subject.
- Good knowledge in PC hardware, LAN and Windows OS
- Resourceful and able to resolve problems independently using online and offline resources
- Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Well organized, proactive and self-directed
- Able to perform with minimal supervision and a team player
- Shift duty and weekend support are required when needed
- Candidateswith troubleshooting knowledge are welcome to apply
- Security Clearance is required
Additional Information
- Location: 50% at Jurong Island
- Once per week, morning shift duty ( 6 am to 2 pm).
- Weekend support for system upgrade / cutover is about once every 2 months.
