Job Scope
- Raising of factory orders in line with Min/Max Levels, demand and supply plans, inventory forecasts and factory lead times.
- Review and manage factory backlogs, providing delivery updates and schedules to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Manage monthly inventory levels in line with shipment and working capital requirements.
- Optimize monthly inventory levels and ensure minimal aged inventory.
- Maintain and manage databases of item master data, customer and factory returns.
- Review and improve processes, such as backlog reporting, purchasing and planning, customer fulfilment.
- Liaise with both inbound and outbound freight providers to ensure timely uplift and delivery of consoles and customer orders.
- Provide weekly/monthly shipment, backlog and KPI reports.
- Providing factory’s with monthly SOP forecasts through working with commercial and marketing teams.
- Assist team with receiving and receipting inbound shipments/ picking and packing of outbound shipments.
- Assist warehouse team with order processing and shipments including additional adhoc warehouse duties.
Requirements
- 5-8 years’ experience with purchasing, planning, forecasting, supply chain, warehousing and logistics processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organised, analytical, attentive to detail and problem solving focused
- Continuous improvement and lean focused to drive efficiencies and waste elimination
- Team player with commercial acumen who is engaged by working with cross functional teams
- Hands on mentality to help the team however required
