The Account Executive is a sales role responsible to acquire new business to expand market share through a business consultative approach and introductions of new products and services.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform market research to understand the various industries
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities
- Focus on growing generating new business
- Acquire new customers by cold calling, emailing, networking and using various media platforms
- Ability to prospect and manage managerial level relationships within small to medium size organizations
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by company
- Monthly forecast preparation and submission
- Use Salesforce to report, measure and control sales inputs and outcomes
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling
- Exposure to HR software, SaaS sales would be an advantage.
- Track record of over achieving sales target
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
- Able to self-motivate and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both phone and email
