Job Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with Senior Manager, EHS and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain and improve EHS Management Systems and safety culture at project level
- Lead daily toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other EHS initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at worksite
- Monitor and take disciplinary actions against unsafe acts/conditions on project site to comply with the Company Safety Management System and the WSHA and its subsidiary legislation
- Responsible for accident reporting and investigations including near misses and any industrial disease cases at worksite
- Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
Job Requirements
- Must be a registered WSHO and ECO with the relevant authorities with at least 5 years’ of relevant working experience in a construction firm
- Possess Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) qualification
- Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Willing to work night shift on rotation basis will be added advantage
