RESPONSIBILITIES (E.g. Job Scope) :
- Prepare method statements for Tunnel activities for submission, safe work procedures, risk register, daily/weekly reports, tunnel progress reports, and other tunnel related documentation.
- Maintain and monitor quality control and records.
- Prepare and carry out presentation of tunnelling works prior to commencement of works.
- Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of site works, ground improvement, ERSS, deep excavation, bored tunnelling works, tunnel internal structure construction and Adit/Cross Passage construction.
- Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
- Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work.
- Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
- Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
- Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
- Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
- Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 years’ experience in handling Tunneling projects
- knowledge in operate EPB TBM system with CREG machine, Terratec machine, Herrenknecht Machine, TBM SELI Technologies machine and Slurry TBM system with TBM Hitachi Machine
- Must be able to work under Compress Air for Cutterhead intervention works
- Knowledge in Autocad and able to use Autocad to draw drawings.
- Able to do shift work (12hours)
