Our client is from Oil & Gas Industry. They are looking for Accountant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Managing full sets of accounts
- Conduct month-end closure, financial analysis, and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Execute GAAP financial reporting, focusing on the General Ledger and account chart management.
- Collaborate with the finance team, overseeing AP & AR processes, GL, and intercompany activities.
- Handle GL entries for provisions, accruals, and currency revaluation.
- Review and support GL coding, account chart maintenance, and GST records.
- Prepare monthly Audit and Balance Sheet Schedules, coordinate financial audits, and manage year-end audit matters.
- Handle revaluation reporting, FRS compliance updates, and IRAS income tax computations.
- Address ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Define asset capitalization policies and useful life parameters.
- Maintain fixed asset records, update registers, and manage the accounting system.
- Coordinate physical asset verifications and report outcomes to management.
- Conduct yearly fixed asset counts, ensuring system cleanliness.
- Generate diverse inventory reports, including Turnaround Days, Stock Reconciliation, Stock Turnaround Days, and CCC.
- Assist in implementing new processes and system improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in AP/GL ledger transactions with Oracle accounting and financial system
