Registered Nurse (Respite Nursing)
• Provide nursing and basic care to clients.
• Evaluate and monitor the progress of clients’ treatment regularly. • Bedside nursing duties (permanent shift / rotating shift/office hours) such as: o Assistance with ADLs, lifting and transferring of patients where needed.
• Provide comfort care o Keeping pre-cooked meals to the patients, o Assist with activities appropriate to the patient’s abilities
• Vital signs monitoring
• Male and female catheterization
• Wound management, removal of stitches
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Nasogastric tube insertion and care management
• Medication management:
- Drug calculation/reconstitution, manage storage and administration of meds (inclusive of controlled drugs)
- Medication packing • Ensure strict compliance with clinical regulations as a nurse.
• Create and maintain a database of all clients, ensuring strict compliance with documentation, and providing evidence-based treatment with accurate and timely records.
• Ensure appropriate, legible, and prompt documentation when required.
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.
