For further information about Nomura, visit www.nomura.com Role Overview You will form part of the AEJ Shared Services team. The team works cross product and is responsible for Asset Services, Tax Operations, Network Management, Settlements, confirmations and oversight and governance. You would work closely with the senior managers in Share Services to help plan, drive and implement target operating models, new initiatives, and global projects. You will be tasked with learning the business and processes, with an aim to identifying and implementing both tactical and strategic solutions to business challenges. You will work with the direct team and collaborate with staff across the wider department. The right candidate should have the interest to develop their business knowledge, to complement their technical skills. Responsibilities • Manage both long term and short term projects. • Track and deliver positive results from both strategic as well as tactical initiatives. • Effectively work with teams to map business processes • Gather and communicate requirements/information from stakeholders • Engage with and presenting to management and wider teams. • Identify areas of inefficiency, reoccurring issues, quality improvement and remediation. • Identify opportunities to improve and automate manual processes, and drive change where required. • Manage a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Requirements • 4+ years experience in project management • Experience in a banking environment preferred • Strong organizational skills, able to multi task, track and prioritize deliveries • Attention to detail with strong logical thinking and analytical skills. Able to produce and articulate solutions to stakeholders • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in Microsoft office tools and in building interactive visualization or dashboard with PowerBI, Tableau, SAP BO and other BI tools.
