About KidsFirst
KidsFirst is an Early Intervention School, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy clinic for children. Our centre works with children with special needs (Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), genetic disorders, and Cerebral Palsy, etc). We deliver an intensive therapy-based program and also provide 1-1 therapy services.
KidsFirst serves a mixed population of international and Singaporean clients, with KidsFirst being listed as one of the preferred Early Intervention Centres by KK Women's and Children's Hospital and National University Hospital (NUH) - Singapore.
We are located at 8 Hong Kong Street, Singapore 059651.
Our brand-new facility houses five state of the art Occupational Therapy Gyms, five Speech Therapy Rooms and two levels for the Early Intervention classrooms. Conveniently located to shopping malls and food spaces like Clarke Quay Central, Chinatown Point, Riverside Point and Hong Lim Market & Food Centre.

What are we looking for?
- Permanent Full-Time Position for a Teacher to support Children with Special Needs.
- Conduct lessons in a specialized small group Early Intervention Program (EIP) setting.
- Create lesson plans and curriculum and track student progress.
- Prepare Individualized Educational Plan goals (IEP) for students, contributing to progress reports.
- Create learning activities, support with classroom supervision and follow-through of learning/behaviour plans, support with children's daily living skills (toileting, dressing and mealtime routines).
- Work in collaboration with a multi-professional team of teachers and therapists.
- Maintain student files, attendance forms, visuals and other tasks.
- To liaise with parents to provide support for skill development.
- Previous experience mentoring junior teachers is valued.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum a Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Special Education or related educational fields. A Bachelor's Degree / Master’s degree in Teaching will be of value.
- Experience teaching with children with special needs
- Experience using standardized tools/assessments will be preferred.
- Must be proficient in communicating and writing professionally, in English.
- Salary commensurate with experience and level of qualification.
