- Oversee, manage and direct all Maintenance & Electrical procedures and operations to improve the efficiency and operating quality of the plant.
- Managing, leading and developing the engineering group.
- Developing strategies for process engineering in support of regulatory inspections and filings.
- Planning, developing and executing Process Engineering budgets for expense and capital approval.
- Approval for Shutdown Maintenance schedule.
- Co-ordinating with Vendors on Technical issues or problems for plant equipment.
- Providing process engineering support to other functions, site initiatives, projects as required.
- Conducting technical reviews of manufacturing equipment by working with users, monitoring equipment performance and making recommendations to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Supporting site risk management and lead risk management within Process Engineering Section.
- Creating, reviewing and approving engineering drawings, equipment dossiers, change orders, etc and maintain project lifecycle documentation
- Improvement of work quality and reduce equipment down time
- Prepare maintenance monthly report
- Maintain long-term maintenance schedules
- In charge for ISO 9001:2015 implementation. ISO14001:2015 implementation, OHSAS 18001/SS506 Part 3: 2006 Implementation
Qualitifications:
- A Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science from recognised institutions
- At least 10 years’ experience in Process Engineering/ Project Management or related technical discipline in the chemical industries
- Familiarity with Regulatory requirements and local Codes & Standards
- Good knowledge and experience of the practical and theoretical requirement of process engineering
- Good leadership skills , Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective Communicator (oral and written)
- Exhibit good quality decision making traits
- Meticulous and Systematic Analytical Mind
- Team player, with strong focus on safety, quality and timeline
