Role attributes:
- Develop, test and deploy fast, robust and reliable Exchange connectivity systems for new strategies;
- Review and upgrade existing connectivity solutions for stablished strategies;
- Work closely with Software Devs and Quants on Verilog/VHDL coding and Fast Path solutions;
- Work closely with the Infrastructure team to obtain the most efficient network design;
- Design hybrid systems (Software CPU based connectivity);
Requirements:
- A degree in a top university in a technical discipline. Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subject (physics, statistics, engineering, mathematics);
- Min 5 years of FPGA successful development experience for financial markets – financial protocol (experience in testing, trouble shooting, monitoring, etc.);
- Experience in VHDL, Verilog;
- Experience with software development (Python/C++ and experience in Linux environment are pluses);
- Experience with Networking (Ethernet, Multicast/UDP, TCP/IP) is a plus;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Capable of working with in large and small teams, very good communication skills and ability to debate own ideas and peers’ ideas in a productive/healthy way.
