You will be responsible for extracting and deriving insights from internal / external data to help identify key commercial opportunities with Sales and develop scenario analysis and action plans.
We do expect you to be well-versed in both digital and non-digital media channels across the world of TV, print, digital, radio, out-of-home, and other touch-points. You must like both the art and science of media; and can work with numbers and data to derive great analysis and insights.

About the Role:
The position is a research & data role supporting advertising sales at SPH Media.
Responsibilities include :-
- Serve as Consumer market research subject matter expert
- Work with multiple data vendors regarding issues of quality and integrity
- Engage internal stakeholders with partners to initiate projects to support commercial pitches and identify commercial opportunities
- Participate in ideation and brainstorming based on data and research done with internal stakeholders and contribute to directions with the goal of business growth
- Transform both quantitative and qualitative information into insightful and actionable recommendations that can be integrated into tactical and strategic decisions
- Lead the development of a wide range of insights and human centered design visualization tools and frameworks
- Demonstrate an ability to manage, create and influence high-impact tactical and marketplace understanding, learning plans, execution of this work through the teamSupport end to end customer and market research efforts, including both qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies
- Manage day to day project timelines and deliverables to support the ongoing execution of marketing insights initiatives and consumer research
- Independently deliver monthly market performance summary to the system
This role will require the individual to have:-
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of relevant working experience
- Strong media knowledge across online and offline media
- A good degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Social Science or other related studies
- An innate sense of curiosity and a strongly analytical mind
- Strong number sense and meticulous in data details will be key
- The tenacity for top-notched project execution and detailed work
Other desktop skills
- Knowledge of Industry Syndicated Research Tools (eg Nielsen Consumer Media Index + Radio Audio, Adquest, GfK Webcross etc) will be mandatory
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and ComScore will be a plus
- Good command of Google Office and / or MS Office including Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
