Responsibilities
- Monitor schedule of ships prior to her arrival at discharge ports
- Monitor and calculate demurrage, hire and freight rates.
- Track unbilled invoice and work closely with finance department
- Resolve disputes with Charterers.
- Maintain list of vessels on time-charter with commercial department
- Daily report to Management on all overdue invoices.
- Match funds received against invoices issued
- Analyse and correct lay time calculations submitted
- Do voyage reviews and follow up with Operators
- Process brokers commission
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounts or Maritime Studies
- Strong knowledge of chartering or previous working experience in a similar position is preferred
- MS Office Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
