- Assist the General Manager in the sales development and management in the assigned market segment.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and secure new sales.
- Working closely with the customers to meet the assigned budget
- Build and manage strong relationships with customers by understanding their plans and requirements and providing value-added services.
- Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
- Negotiate with customers to secure sales with healthy margins.
- Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meet customers’ expectations.
- Prepare sales quotations, preparing bids, and making formal presentations to customers and demonstrate services offered.
- Monitor customers’ payment matters and ensure all overdue payments are recovered.
- Provide suggestions to enhance the overall sales management of the assigned market segment.
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Qualification/ Requirement
- GCE ‘O’ level with at least 7 years of relevant working experience OR
- Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Willing to travel.
- Experience with SAP Business One will be advantageous.
